Alexis Ruggiero writes books about rejection, faith, and the macabre. Gothic romanticism, literary fiction, and psychological fiction are her bread and butter. In addition, she writes under the pen name Olympia Grace for coming-of-age fiction, romance, and humor. She enjoys poets like Edgar Allen Poe and Christina Rossetti, novels ranging from Charlotte Brontë to Ally Carter, and music from Faouzia and Lana Del Rey. She is debuting her poetry/short story collection, The Patterns You Weave, October 18th on Amazon! The work draws on her fascination with contradiction: peace within despair, regret amidst healing, the hurt behind love....It is inspired by her walk with God and the trials encountered in her quest to embrace her purpose on this earth: to bridge the mortal heart to the divine through the medium of the written word. 

 

Alexis resides intermittently between Rhode Island and Florida with her family. She holds a bachelor's degree in Classical Civilizations from Florida State University, with a minor in Anthropology.
